The Cedar Stars Academy Metro Cup will take place February 5th–7th, 2027 at the Capelli Sport Complex in Tinton Falls, NJ, bringing together top-level competition in a high-intensity, showcase environment. Featuring MLS NEXT, ECNL, and Girls Academy teams, the tournament is designed for elite Boys and Girls U16, U17, and U19 age groups, with eight teams competing in each division.
The event follows a single-game elimination format with full-length 2 x 45 minute matches, and any ties decided by a five-kick penalty shootout, ensuring a true competitive edge throughout the weekend. Every team is guaranteed three meaningful games against top opposition, creating an atmosphere that mirrors postseason intensity and development standards at the highest youth levels.
